Bidding for road and drainage project from San Vicente to Papago begins

The Procurement and Supply Office said MAIDA Pacific Corporation, Hawaiian Rock and GPPC Incorporated were the companies that participated in the bidding.

“As of now, the result of the bidding is still on review,” Herman S. Sablan, Director of the Division of Procurement and Supply said.

He said bidding details will only be disclosed to the public as soon as the files have undergone thorough review.

The total costs of the project is $9.2 million and is Funded by the U.S Department of Transportation‘s Federal highway Administration.

The road project stretches from San Vicente to Papago and will also involve the construction of the drainage system and improvement of Back Road in Papago.

Public Works Secretary Diego Songsong said DPW will address transportation disruption issues when the construction starts.
