Brothers arrested for fighting in front of kids on Christmas

The $100 was 10 percent of the $1,000 bail set by the court against Noonan Phillip, 41, and Mino Phillip, 33.

Wiseman ordered the brothers to stay away from each other and to return to court for their arraignment on Jan. 11, 2010.

In her declaration of probable cause and complaint, Det. Andrea Ozawa said police responded to a 911 call at about 6:04 a.m., Christmas Day regarding an ongoing fight at Nonni Apartments in Garapan.

Upon arrival, Officer Jonathan Decena was met by Mino Phillip’s wife.

She told police that after the Phillip brothers arrived home from drinking the two had an argument.

Noonan Phillip was holding the woman’s baby, which she immediately removed from his care after the brothers started a heated argument.

Noonan Phillip punched his brother in the face, the woman told police.

The brothers decided to take their fight outside  the apartment, in front of the woman’s minor children.

Police said Noonan Phillip had a swollen, reddish colored injury to his forehead, but refused medical treatment.

Police said the Phillip brothers reeked of alcohol.
