Derik Camacho Reyes, 29, and his 21-year-old brother, Vincent, were also accused of stealing towels at the Hanamitsu Hotel and Spa in western Garapan.
Police asked the court to issue a search warrant to recover a 31-inch Sony Bravia flat screen at Villaroyal Pawnshop in Dandan and another one pawned at GMTB Pawnshop, also in Dandan.
The Reyes brothers were charged with burglary and theft.
“On March 28, the two suspects rented and occupied a room at Hanamitsu Hotel and Spa, but were later caught on surveillance cameras the following day, rushing out of the backdoor of the hotel with what appeared to be a huge flat screen television set,” Detective Buddy Igitol wrote in his affidavit.
The two were served their warrants of arrest on March 31 and disclosed to the investigating officer where they pawned the missing TVs.
