Calvo’s Insurance general manager Eli Buenaventura turned over the check donation to Hyatt food and beverage director Michael Wilson.
“We would like to support the event especially as the proceeds will help children with life-threatening diseases,” Buenaventura said.
Wilson said they are thankful for the donation.
“We appreciate the support that we continue to get from our generous donors as this is all for a good cause,” Wilson said.
The beneficiaries of the Golf Classic 2011 are the Make-a-Wish Foundation and other non-profit organizations.
Wilson said over $70,000 worth of hole-in-one prizes are up for grabs, including a one night accommodation in a Hyatt club room and Sunday brunch at Giovanni’s for two for the winning team; one night accommodation in a deluxe room and dinner at the Kili Café and Terrace for two for the first runner-up; and a 60-minute Swedish massage at the I Sagua Spa and lunch buffet at the Miyako for two for the second runner up.
All golfers, amateur and professional, are invited to join this fun event.
Wilson said the early bird registration fee for Club Elan and Club at the Hyatt members is $95 for payments made on or before Nov. 9; $110 if paid after that date for Club Elan and Club at the Hyatt members; and $120 for non-members.
Application forms are available from at the Hyatt and the Lao Lao Bay Golf Resort.
