MMAC chairman Dave Guerrero received the two checks in the lobby of Saipan Health Clinic yesterday.
“It’s a generous thing that they are doing this. It shows their great commitment to the community,” Guerrero said.
MMAC, he added, will continue to raise funds for the annual march which will be held on March 13 and 14 at Hopwood Junior High School.
Last week, MMAC public relations officer Chris Concepcion, on behalf of the event organizers, received a $3,000 donation from TakeCare Insurance Co. Inc.
Selma Salas of Saipan Health Clinic said the staff and management decided to increase their involvement in the annual march, adding that they believe in the objectives of MMAC.
Before this year’s march, there will be a golf tournament which will be part of the fundraising efforts.
