The new comptroller is set to work with CDA later this month.
Yesterday was comptroller Stuart B. Smith’s last day.
Smith informed the board of his decision not to renew his contract last August.
CDA’s vacancy announcement attracted three candidates, among whom the board chose Smith’s potential replacement.
In a previous interview with Variety, Smith said, “It’s better to give other people a chance to make a contribution for the benefit of CDA.”
Smith worked for CDA for two years.
