THE Saipan and Northern Islands Municipal Council will host a special ceremony for the establishment of the Chalan Kanoa Leadership Memorial Kiosku Courtyard today at its location on Tun Segundo Road.
The 16th commemoration is dedicated to the “solemn remembrance, recognition, and honor” of the “local homegrown leaders” memorialized at the Kiosku. These leaders were part of the Spanish, German, Japanese, Naval Administrations, and Trust Territory era.
The ceremony begins at 10 a.m.
Families of the leaders as well as the general public are invited to the ceremony.
