Brennan told the Variety that he will be happy to serve as president of the chamber.

“We’re looking at the interests of the business community on many levels and we will continue that,” he said.

He would take things as they come.

“With the [CNMI] election coming up, we will have a new leadership in the government to deal with. We are hoping for a better relationship with the CNMI government and business community to make things work for the best,” he said.

“It’s going to be a tough year, with the economy going bad and it’s probably the worst in the last 15 years. We need to meet a number of challenges to get back to the same business environment that we had before,” Brennan said.
