The workshop will also provide relevant information on the transition of FEMA’s role in the FSM to USAID.
Additionally, the workshop will provide an avenue for both FEMA and USAID to understand the hopes and concerns of the state-level manager.
FSM President Manny Mori asked Yap Gov. Sebastian Anefal to identify two state disaster managers to participate in the workshop.
Funding for their travel will be covered by FEMA but the state is asked to put up its per diem which will be reimbursed by the U.S. agency.
