Good Tour and Jang Moon Soo filed a complaint of defamation, disparagement, and violation of consumer protection act against Keo Song Marine World and Zhing Ying Zi.
Through attorney Janet King, Jang Moon Soo is also asking for a jury trial.
The plaintiff is asking the court for judgment and relief for damages for both defendants, jointly and severally, in an amount to be proven at trial on all counts, attorney fees and costs of suit, and other relief the court deems just and proper.
Variety tried but failed to get a comment from the defendants.
Good Tour and Keong Song Marine World are based on Tinian and are direct competitors, the complaint said.
The complaint stated that on Oct. 22, 2010, on Tinian, Dong Jie Song, an employee of Good Tour, met with six customers who were signed up or about to sign up for the services of Good Tour.
According to the complaint, Zhing Ying Zi approached as Song and the six customers met in the Tinian Dynasty lobby.
The customers cancelled their business with Good Tour after Zhing Ying Zi made “false statements” about the company, the complaint added.
On Oct. 25, 2010, Zhing Ying Zi again met with potential customers of Good Tour.
The potential customers cancelled their business deal with Good Tour, the complaint said.
The complaint added that Zhing Ying Zi’s false and misleading statements to a customer about Good Tour’s business and services resulted in the customer’s cancellation of renting Good Tour’s scooter.
