The proclamation recognizes the faithful service of correction professionals and encourages all citizens to honor and recognize their achievements.
During the proclamation, Committee Chairman Gregory F. Arriola said the law enforcement professionals are hardly being recognized for their daily work.
“But we are a force of positive change,” he noted “We are silent but our actions speak volume and we are here to serve you.”
The law enforcement professionals, he added, do not only make offenders accountable for their crime but they also help the offenders become law abiding persons
