Associate Judge Ramona V. Manglona, however, granted Crisostomo’s request that he be allowed to receive medical attention from the Commonwealth Health Center for his health condition.
Crisostomo is currently detained at the Department of Corrections facility.
Manglona had raised Crisostomo’s bail to $10,000 from the original $6,500.
Crisostomo, an administrative employee of Northern Marianas College, was arrested for attacking and threatening to kill with a machete Thomas Asack, a former respiratory therapist at the Commonwealth Health Center.
Granted
In other news, Associate Judge Perry B. Inos released Melanie Camacho to her husband William as her third party custodian.
Inos granted Camacho’s motion for bail modification on Friday.
Camacho posted a $10,000 property bond.
A DFS Galleria employee, Camacho was arrested for taking $16,000 from the firm’s vault, police said.
Camacho was ordered to attend her arraignment in court on Feb. 16.
Change of plea hearing
Associate Judge Kenneth Govendo directed Vincent SN. Muna, 34, to attend the March 5 hearing for his change of plea, sentencing, and restitution.
Muna was charged with two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon and one count of criminal mischief.
On Jan. 14, 2008, Muna threw and attempted to strike with a large rock Jeon Je Cheon, which also caused damage at Hi-Mart store in Dandan, amounting to less than $250.
Jury trial
In another case, Govendo issued a pre-trial order that scheduled a jury trial for Rudolph Kios on Nov. 15, 2010.
Kios is charged with one count of assault with a dangerous weapon, one count of assault and battery, and one count of disturbing the peace.
Records showed Xing Wang suffered a deep cut in his right forearm after Kios attacked him with a samurai on Nov. 22, 2009.
Kios also disturbed the peace of two individuals.
Kios has denied the charges.
