The motion for bail modification made by Geraldine Marie Sanchez, 28, was granted on Thursday by Associate Judge David Wiseman.
Sanchez was represented by Assistant Public Defender Mike Brown.
During oral arguments, Assistant Attorney General George Hasselback, the acting chief prosecutor of the criminal division, objected to the proposed bail modification.
Hasselback argued that the incident was a clear statutory rape that involved a 28-year-old and a 15-year-old.
In his order, Wiseman directed Sanchez not to have any contact with children under 16 years old.
Sanchez was also ordered to issue a $2,500 property bond and $22,500 in unsecured bond.
Police arrested Sanchez in Chalan Kanoa two weeks ago for sexual abuse of a minor.
The victim, a male, reportedly told his mother that they had sex in Sanchez’s room before his 16th birthday, police said.
Sanchez, however, said she had sex with the boy after his 16th birthday, police added.
