Presiding Judge Robert Naraja imposed a one-year imprisonment, but all suspended, except for 23 days with credit for time already served from April 5 to 28, 2008.
Ladringan, 25, and his co-accused, Jin Xuan Zhe, 27, stole 50 cases of Spam from I-Mart’s warehouse in December 2007 where they previously worked, police said.
The Department of Public Safety has distributed summons for 220 prospective jurors for the jury trial of Zhe that will start on Feb. 8, 2010.
