The jury trial starts on July 12, while a pretrial conference was set for June 23.
Cosmes, 25, is being held on the charge of one count of sexual abuse of a minor in the first degree, one count of sexual abuse of a minor in the second degree, and one count of assault and battery.
His bail has been set at $6,000.
The Attorney General’s Office said Cosmes sexually abused his victim twice on March 15, 2009 while he repeatedly punched and kicked his victim on May 10, 2009.
Cosmes has denied the charges.
