There are four ongoing water projects, three of them are under the CNMI Water Task Force and one under CUC, its water and wastewater division manager Mariano Iglecias said.
The projects, he said, are federally funded.
CUC, he added, is also working on maintenance and rehabilitation to improve its water delivery services, Iglecias said.
“CUC is also aggressively repairing leaks, locating and disconnecting illegal connections, metering all its customers, reviewing pump and motor specifications for optimal use,” he added.
CUC is implementing a leak detection program to identify leaks, minimize water losses and improve water delivery to its customers, Iglecias said.
