The proceeds were from the 2009 Delta Air Lines Golf Tournament for Children’s Education. All funds raised at the annual tournament are donated to various children’s educational charities or activities in the CNMI.
Delta Air Lines is the world’s largest airline. A member of the SkyTeam Alliance, it services every single continent except Antarctica. Delta is headquartered in Atlanta where it operates the world’s busiest hub.
Other hubs include Detroit, Cincinnati, Minneapolis-Saint Paul, New York City, Memphis, Salt Lake City, Tokyo/Narita, Amsterdam and Paris.
Delta operates three daily flights between Saipan and Tokyo/Narita and will begin daily services to Nagoya in June. SkyMiles is Delta’s frequent flier program.
