Rohan said they discussed plans to have the Yap airport designated as an alternate airport for Delta Airlines.
According to Rohan, Delta will be flying a new route to Palau from Narita, Japan on Dec. 22, 2010. As such his team flew out of the U.S. to conduct preliminary visits to Palau and other alternate airports, including Cebu in the Philippines and Yap.
Delta will be flying a Boeing-757 with 182 passenger seats.
