Disa gets 90 days for assaulting 3 individuals

The court imposed one year imprisonment for each count, all suspended, except for 90 days, which will run concurrently.

Disa, who already served 90 days in jail, was  placed on three years probation.

He will pay a $500 fine. If he pays the fine within one year of release, the fine will be reduced to $250.

He will also pay a $25 court assessment fee, and a $100 probation fee.

Moreover, Disa will perform 50 hours of community work service, will not have any contact with his three victims and will stay away within 100 yards of any of them.

He will pay all costs of any and all medical fees associated with injuries to the victims as a result of the assault.

Likewise, Disa will pay restitution including the damage to the car, the cellular phone, and the house involved in the case.

The prosecution moved for the dismissal of remaining charges: one count of assault with a dangerous weapon using a screwdriver, two counts of criminal mischief, and three counts of disturbing the peace.

Assistant Attorney General Russel Lorfing prosecuted the case, while Disa was represented by Assistant Public Defender Matthew Meyer.

On July 2, at about 2:30 a.m., police said Disa came to the residence of Mohammed Muslim in San Antonio, and punched the victim on the back of his head and right shoulder.

Disa then walked out of the house and punched the driver side windshield of a Toyota Tercel.

Afterward, Disa attacked Muslim with a screwdriver but Muslim managed to take it away from Disa.

Disa also grabbed and threw away the cellular phone being used by Muslim in calling for police assistance.

Disa then approached Sabrina Satur, and punched her head five times and kicked her once on the back, police said.

Sabrina’s daughter tried to help, but was slapped by Disa, police added.
