The CNMI Department of Commerce is hosting the event, which will run until Wednesday afternoon, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Northern Marianas College- Cooperative Research, Extension and Education Service and IT&E.
Off-island experts and industry leaders will discuss agriculture, aquaculture, educational tourism and call centers.
The summit, which is principally funded by the federal government, is open to the public and will also be telecast on Rota and Tinian.
The first economic restoration summit was held on Saipan two years ago.
