Head coach/director    Rev. Pete Miral in a statement said once again, Eucon International School students placed their school in the map of mathematical excellence.

Sponsored by the Public School System, the regional Math Court competition covered all benchmark from all standards.

Miral said Eucon International School students who garnered the most coveted place in mathematical competency included Victoria Nicole Santos, a 2nd grade student under teacher Thess Miral. Santos got a silver medal.

Eucon’s top 10 students were first grader Joy Yan under Mrs. Saminah Kakuse, second graders Victoria Nicole Santos, Jin Seok Park, James Matthew Reyes, and third graders Juancho Philippe Siasoyco and Ao Feng Zheng under Mrs. Thess Miral.

Miral said they would like to extend special thanks to the Eucon International School Mathematics Department proctors Hannah De Leon, Oleg and Shasha Shishko, Ben Pruglo and Mark Zhang, and assistant coach and head proctor Menette Siasoyco for helping the students prepare for the competition.

Eucon was one of the 14 participating schools in the regional event. Established in 2005, Math Court competition has become a bigger and better event each year, its organizers said.
