Eucon acting director of institutional effectiveness Vilma Reyes said several Eucon students won first to third places.
“The faculty and staff of Eucon International School would like to congratulate the students and parents of students who won at Math Court,” Reyes said.
Jia Yi “Linda” Zhou, a fourth grader who won 1st place in Numbers and Algebra, said she was happy that she got good results and she wanted to try to do better in geometry next time.
Victoria Nicole Santos, 2nd grader, said she wants to join again next time and to win the regional competition.
“It was really encouraging to see students excel in mathematics. Math Court gives them incentive to study harder,” Reyes said.
Some of the students said even though the event was harder and more challenging than the last one, they were all excited to join it.
The school administration recognizes the training students get from events such as Math Court.
“We acknowledge the effort of the Math Court organizers, the parents, teachers, and students, both winners and nonwinners. We give the honor and praise to almighty God who is the giver of all gifts,” Reyes said.
