The two have been asked by PSS to step down from their former positions.
PSS human resource officer Ramon Diaz yesterday said Evangelista’s resignation took effect on Aug. 15.
The former principal intends to further pursue higher education off-island, Variety learned.
His replacement is KoES acting principal Rizalina Purugganan, the classroom teacher who filed a grievance against him after Evangelista forced her and her husband, who was on leave for military training, to resign.
He recommended the non-renewal of the couple’s contracts.
Salas’ resignation will be effective on Aug. 29.
Variety was told that she will also pursue higher education in the states.
PSS named Heejae Lee as the new food and nutrition service coordinator.
