And Fiji has been reported as the fourth in the Pacific Regional H1N1 numbers.
97 confirmed cases has been recovered. This shows the cooperation of the people together with Health Ministry in fighting this pandemic disease.
WHO South Pacific Staff Chen Ken said although Fiji was ranked fourth in the region, the public has response immediately to health officers which have minimize the spreading of the virus.
Dr Chen said the Pacific Island countries were well prepared as no fatality reported from the outbreak. But media liaison officer Iliesa Tora warned members of the public to exercise necessary precautions.
Dr Chen said Fiji was doing much better than other island States in dealing with the pandemic and the task now becomes challenging as the authorities and the public have to try and stop its further spread and at the same time help the confirmed cases recover.
