The Philippine Consulate General also conducted a consultation and counseling session on consular and labor issues affecting Filipino workers in the CNMI.
Consul General Wilfredo DL. Maximo led the consultation with Consul Belinda M. Ante and Labor Representative Joan Lourdes D. Lavilla.
The health screening was conducted by volunteers from the Commonwealth Health Center and Hardt Eye Clinic, according to Philippine Welfare Officer Leonor Mabagal.
The free clinic started at 7 a.m. and ended at 12 noon on the ground floor of the Marianas Business Plaza in Susupe.
Dr. Donald Hardt led the six-member team from Hardt Eye Clinic that performed vision check-ups and examinations.
Twelve volunteers from the Commonwealth Health Center provided medical services.
The free clinic is the third this year and is part of an ongoing program of the Philippine Consulate General.
