The last time consulate officials visited the island was two years ago, they claimed in a phone interview.
They said they are willing to raise funds to pay for the airfare of consulate personnel.
More than 50 Filipino workers on Rota need to have their passports renewed.
They are also hoping that the consulate will extend its services, including training and skills courses, to Rota.
They said registering for their country’s May 10 general elections will be useless if the consulate will not send them the ballots.
The consulate said it is trying to schedule consular services on Rota but is currently attending to the ongoing overseas absentee voting on Saipan.
Variety was also told that the issuance of passports should be done in Saipan since the consulate uses computer paraphernalia that cannot be easily dismantled and re-assembled.
Filipino workers on Rota also expressed concern about the removal of their names from the voter list.
“I called and unfortunately our names have been deleted since we were not able to vote for the past two elections but that was because the voting was done only on Saipan, and only now are they sending ballots to Rota and Tinian,” one worker said.
