In addition, DOF employees completed the Strategic Leadership and Emotional Intelligence workshops coordinated by the Saipan Chamber of Commerce.
“I thoroughly appreciated the workshop (Staff PD held in Sept. 2024), which covered a range of valuable topics including password security, recognizing domestic abuse and sexual harassment, mental wellness, and self-care. The interactive group activities and mindfulness exercises, such as deep breathing, were very beneficial. I believe incorporating deep breathing exercises into our regular workplace routine would be highly beneficial to help clear and calm our minds,” said M. Alelbai, Customs Biosecurity officer.
“Human capital investments in leadership, knowledge and talent management are essential in delivering professional service to taxpayers and the community as a whole,” said Tracy B. Norita, secretary of Finance. She adds, ‘We intend to continue the coordination and delivery of training programs to our DOF employees for their professional and personal growth.”
DOF has submitted supporting documents to the Office of Personnel to complete the sanction request process for the above-mentioned training events as required in the Personnel Service Rules and Regulations.
