A HOUSE located behind San Vicente Elementary School was burned on Thursday afternoon, police said.
No one was reported hurt in the blaze that gutted the wooden house, Department of Public Safety spokesman Pete C. Muna said.
Before the fire started, Muna said three elementary school students saw a man at the house holding a red container.
One of the students claimed he saw the person at 8 a.m. carrying a red container that appeared to be for gasoline.
The person poured the contents of the container on a bunch of pallets outside the house, the student said.
Muna said the fire was reported to DPS at 2 p.m. that day.
The incident was placed under further investigation.
Last April 20, a big fire gutted a two-story barracks occupied by over 100 garment factory workers in San Antonio.
Last April 21, fire razed BJ Garden Restaurant along Beach Road in Garapan.
Four days before this blaze, unidentified persons burglarized an abandoned house and set it on fire in Chalan Kanoa.
