Army Reserve Capt. Clarence P. Tenorio, who is stationed at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, told the Variety through e-mail that it is his third year in a row to receive a Christmas care package from Operation Homefront Support.
“It is always very nice to receive packages from home,” Tenorio said.
Among the items he received were food and snacks as well as handwritten cards from children.
“Thank you so much for thinking of the servicemen and women from the CNMI,” Tenorio said.
Last week, Operation Homefront Support sent 250 care packages containing canned goods, other food and non-food items, and a letter wishing the servicemembers happy holidays and expressing the CNMI’s appreciation for the service they are doing for their nation.
