The tree fell at around 10:30 p.m. due to strong winds, according to Danilo Jacolbe, one of the occupants of the house.
There are trees at the back of their house and he now believes that these pose danger to the residents in the area.
Just before the tree fell, he said, his wife was in the kitchen area.
“It’s good that it didn’t happen on day time. What if the trees fell when our children were in the rest room?” he asked.
William Armea, owner of the house, said they have requested the mayor’s office for assistance.
The mayor’s office, he said, assured them that it will send personnel to cut the trees.
As of press time, Jacolbe said, the mayor’s office had not sent anybody to the site.
