Free health screening at Gualo Rai basketball court

This will be the church’s third medical outreach this year, Ronnie Doca, the church spokesman,  said yesterday.

The church earlier conducted a health outreach in Garapan and Tanapag.

Next month, it will be held in Kagman, Doca said.

This Sunday, the church will offer free blood pressure and blood sugar examination, eye check-up, body massage, reflexology, haircut, facial massage, height and weight measure and counseling.

The health screening will start at 4 p.m. and end at 7 p.m.

Doca encourages community members in Gualo Rai and adjacent villages to come early because “this will be a first-come, first-served basis only.”

During the health screening, health products will also be given to  community members.

These include a $150 gift certificate from the Marianas Eye Institute which will be provided to a person who “really needs” assistance.

The medical outreach is supported by regular sponsors like the Marianas Eye Institute, the Northern Marianas College Nursing Club headed by Hervin Jacinto, Salon-Rhea, Viel Salon & Spa, Micronesia Brokers Inc., church volunteers and members.
