Tudela, in an interview, said he will go to Hokakaido, Japan with seven students from Hopwood Junior High School participating in the cultural exchange program.
This February, he said, there will be two separate cultural exchange programs.
The first group left on Feb. 1 and the second will comprise of 16 students and four chaperons who will leave Saipan for the Sanpo-En Cultural Exchange Program from Feb. 9 to 15.
Tudela said the expenses for the trip are paid by the students’ parents while the accommodations in Japan will be provided by the organizing committee of the Sanpo-En Cultural Exchange Program, which will also pay for his airfare.
