FSM’s Amato Elymore passes away

Reverend Suda Rayel, director of administration for Congress, on behalf of all those present who wished to share the burden of this loss with Elymore’s family, gave a prayer for Elymore’s safe-keeping.

Isiro Choram, family representative, and vice president of the Chuuk Senate, expressed gratitude for all those in attendance, including Vice President Alik Alik, Chief of Staff Kasio Mida and Assistant to the President on Legislative Affairs Pelsesar Petrus, who came to pay their respect and give their condolences to the family.

“Amato Elymore was a great and humble person; we are thankful to have known him, he will be greatly missed,” said Choram.

Alik expressed his condolences and, on behalf of President Manny Mori and the national government, thanked Elymore’s family for Elymore’s committed service to the government.

Elymore, originally from Namoluk, Chuuk, dedicated more than 20 years of his life to public service.
