Danny Asuncion, the operator of MV Dong, told Variety that the perpetrator(s) entered through a hatch on the top deck of the vessel.
Asuncion said on the evening of Sept. 30, Wednesday, he had inspected the boat and did not see anything suspicious.

But the next day, he noticed that the Powermate generator and a Skilsaw were missing from the boat, Asuncion said, adding that these cost more than $1,000.
He is asking the public to be on the lookout for individuals selling a Powermate generator and a Skilsaw and to call the police immediately.
