Dr. Celia B. Lamkin, overall coordinator for the Northern Marianas, Guam and Hawaii, yesterday said they have also convinced CNMI government officials to join the event set for Aug. 21.

On Saipan, Lamkin said the venue for the prayer forum will be the multi-purpose center from 1:30 p.m.to 5 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 21.

There will be song and dance numbers as well as presentations about the Spratlys and former Sen. Ninoy Aquino, a democracy advocate, who was assassinated on Aug. 21, 1983.

A Mass will be held at the Kristo Rai Church at 6 p.m. while the Cornerstone Christian Church and the Blessed Temple Christian Fellowship will also offer prayer services.
