Presiding Judge Robert C. Naraja is now handling family court cases together with Judge Perry B. Inos.
Naraja also handles juvenile matters.
Judge David A. Wiseman will continue to work on criminal cases, while Judge Ramona V. Manglona still handles traffic cases.
Last December, the Supreme Court ordered the reassignment of Govendo from the family court for a period of one year as part of his public censure for using “racially inappropriate language” in three cases.
Govendo was also ordered to write a letter of apology to the people of the commonwealth and complete an off-island educational program on judicial ethics “at his own expense.”
