During this period, the Guam Police Department’s Highway Patrol Division, along with the Guam Airport Police, will join law enforcement agencies throughout the nation to observe the Impaired Driving Prevention Campaign.
Local law enforcement officers will be out in full-force this holiday season, cracking down on impaired drivers and those driving under the influence.
Drivers are advised “not to risk it.” If they had too much alcohol to drink, they should not get behind the wheel.
The “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” Impaired Driving Prevention Month runs from Dec. 16 to Jan. 2, 2012.
