The 2010 fee for an establishment with 10 or more employees was $135. The new fee is now $290 plus an additional $5 for each additional employee.
For establishments with one to nine employees, the fee increased by $15 to $150 until Jan. 2, 2012. This will then increase to $220 until Jan. 2, 2014.
The sanitary permit fee for vending machines also increased from $135 to $290 per model of vending machine. For each additional vending machine of the same model or type, the fee is $5 extra.
