“This will recognize the efforts of everybody who supported our aspirations,” United Workers Movement President Rabby Syed said.
There will be contributions in the form of dances and song renditions from many varying cultures, parlor games for both adults and children and a magic show.
The event will be held at the American Memorial Park amphitheatre from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Jan. 9.
Syed said they have invited officials from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the federal labor ombudsman’s office.
United Workers Movement Chairman Ronnie Doca said the event is supported by the Pilipino Contract Workers Association, the Korean Association, the Human Dignity Movement, the Bangladesh Cultural Group, the Saipan Hindu Community, the Chinese Community, the Nepalese Community, the Indian Community and the taxi groups.
