Hard Rock Café operations manager Rey Perez said this year’s beneficiary are families chosen by Karidat.
“The chosen families will be given a free special party as a Christmas gift,” Perez said.
He encouraged residents and tourists to donate any in-kind items, canned goods and other food items to the Imagine-Karidat Food Drive Campaign.
Perez said the campaign also features John Lennon-inspired merchandise.
Fifteen percent of the net proceeds will benefit WhyHunger, a non-profit organization that “attacks root causes of hunger and poverty,” and its grassroots partners around the globe.
