A HOMICIDE investigation was launched after an unresponsive male and an injured female were found in their apartment on Hagamham Lane corner Tun Joaquin Doi Road in Fina Sisu, Department of Public Safety Public Information Officer Sgt. Fred Sato said on Thursday.

He said the male victim was Asian and between 30 and 40 years old while the female victim, who is in her 30s or 40s, “is in critical condition.”

Few official details were available as of press time.

According to DPS, at 10:46 a.m., a 911 call informed police about injured persons in the Ladera Building area.

After receiving a news tip at around 1 p.m., Variety proceeded to Hagamham Lane where there were several unmarked police vehicles by the roadside. Crime scene tape blocked the entrance, and officers on the scene declined to comment. 

In a media release, DPS said police discovered an “unresponsive Asian male … and one Asian female … with injuries, in their apartment.”

Both victims were transported to the hospital, DPS said.
