The House adopted a resolution recognizing Kim Prinz Coats, the former president of the Commonwealth Health Center Volunteer Association, who has left Saipan for good.
The 56-year-old Prinz is originally from Ontario, Canada and she came to Saipan with her daughters Pamela, Michelle and Andrea on Sept. 4, 1989.
Throughout their stay here, she dedicated her time volunteering for CHC, getting donations to purchase much needed medical equipment for its patients.
“Ms. Kim Prinz Coat’s enthusiastic and relentless efforts can be attributed to her volunteer work and obtaining donations for CHC Volunteer Association. Her mantra is ‘Our community cannot progress without volunteers, for every community needs people to donate and be freely willing to give their time to gove to others, especially for those in need,’” states the two page resolution for her.
“The House hereby recognizes and commends Ms. Kim Prinz Coats for unselfish contribution of her time to our commonwealth community,” the resolution added.
