Chaired by Rep. Ralph N. Yumul, the committee has scheduled hearings for the Office of the Mayor of Rota, the Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, the Public Assistance Office, the Office of Personnel Management, the Office of the Secretary of the Department of Finance, the Commonwealth Healthcare Corp. and the Office of the Mayor of Tinian and Aguiguan.
The hearings for the Office of HSEM and the Public Assistance Office will be held on Monday, July 27 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. respectively.
The special committee has asked that Special Assistant Gerald J. Deleon Guerrero and the governor’s authorized representative Patrick C. Guerrero be present for the hearings.
A joint hearing for the OPM and Office of the Secretary of the Department of Finance will be held on Tuesday, July 28 at 10 a.m.
The special committee has asked that Director Isidro Seman and Secretary of Finance David Atalig be present for this hearing.
A hearing for CHCC will be held on Tuesday, July 28 at 2 p.m.
The special committee has asked that CEO Esther L. Muna be present for this hearing.
A hearing for the Office of the Mayor of Tinian and Aguiguan will be held on Wednesday, July 29 at 10 a.m.
The special committee has asked that Mayor Edwin P. Aldan be present for this hearing.
Rota Mayor Efraim Atalig did not appear before the special committee when it conducted a hearing on Rota earlier this week.
The other members of the special committee are House Floor Leader John Paul Sablan, Reps. Luis John Castro, Joseph Leepan Guerrero, and Tina Sablan.
Members of the general public are welcome to attend the public hearings.
