Karidat, a charitable organization, will distribute the toys to children from low-income families.
Program coordinator Denise Montenegro said the Hyatt conducted similar toy drives in the past years with the Division of Youth Services, but this is the first year for the “Toys for Tots” program.
“We are glad of the positive support of many of our employees who donated the toys for children since we started the campaign last month,” Montenegro said.
“We will definitely be looking for more programs that can help and benefit the community,” she said.
Karidat executive director Angie Deleon Guerrero said in this holiday season, they have received more toys compared to other items.
Deleon Guerrero said they also received toy donations from Marianas Health Services and other donors.
She said Karidat once again expresses its gratitude to generous community members.
