Selected guests partook of the sumptuous feast of appetizers prepared from the Hyatt as they sampled the two beers that took center stage for the night.
“Becks and Stella Artois have been around for about a couple of months but this is the first time we are formally launching this on Saipan,” Marianas Pacific Dist. Inc. sales manager Melvin Tenorio said.
With a smooth taste that simply glides down your throat, he said it won’t be hard for these two European beers to become a favorite of many in the island.
Stella Artois is the best selling Belgian Beer in the world, says Tenorio. It is brewed using only natural ingredients and a traditional brewing process. Becks is also gaining popularity as one of the best German beers.
“We had been receiving good feedbacks from customers who have tasted these European beers,” Tenorio said. He added that they just want to expand the choices or options for beer drinkers in the island.
Becks and Stella Artois are available at the Hyatt Regency Saipan, Joeten stores and in bars on Saipan.
Hyatt Regency Food & Beverage director Ranjeet Rajebhosale said that every month, they host the launching of new beers to add to their regular menu.
“We choose these European beers since we are celebrating the German Food fest from Feb. 16-21 and this is timely,” Rajebhosale said. For the entire week, Kili Café will be serving a wide assortment of German cuisine—frankfurters, sausages, Sauerkraut and a lot more.
