Hyatt marketing communications assistant manager Luis Villagomez said they will be holding a car-wash fundraiser in the hotel parking lot from 9 a.m. until the afternoon on March 26.
Each carwash is only $5.
On the same day, Villagomez said they will be holding a yard sale at the hotel premises to come up with more funds for the march.
Villagomez said they have solicited various items they will sell to the public during the yard sale on March 26 from hotel employees and other volunteers.
“We are inviting the community to come and support us in our fundraising event,” he said.
The Hyatt has been supporting the Marianas March Against Cancer for the past years by forming a team and raising funds to help in the fight against cancer in the CNMI. Last year, the hotel staff and several volunteers held a one-night rummage sale at the Hyatt beachfront where the public were able to buy assorted brand new or used items at very cheap prices. They also sold food and drinks and initiated games for the children and adults.
