Glushko’s Academy of Performing Arts ballet instructor Anna Glushko said professional dancers from Japan and other places will be coming over for the three-night performances slated at the Palms Resort Saipan.
“This is a phenomenal opportunity for the little children to perform alongside with world-class artists and they have practiced the whole year for this event,” Glushko said.
“We would like to ask for the support of the community to join us in the biggest cultural event for the year,” she added.
The performances on Dec. 4 and 6 will be for families. Tickets are sold at $10 and $15 each. Glushko said the international artists will do a special performance on the evening of Dec. 5 where the audience can dress up for the show.
Ticket for the Dec. 5 show is $35 each, inclusive of cocktails.
Last year, over 700 attended the shows at the Palms Resort Saipan to watch over 50 students of the Glushko Academy of Performing Arts with Russian ballerina Margarita Rudina and her partner Alexey Nasadovich.
Glushko’s Academy of Performing Arts will do several fundraising events to help defray the expenses to bring the international artists here next month.
The academy is located at the Marianas Business Plaza. For more information, call 234-2721.
