Sally Malay of Guam-based Tropical Productions told the Variety in an e-mail yesterday that the two-hour shows will include “high energy” entertainment for adults and children including skip rope, quick change, strong man, Rolla Bolla, cube, wheels, perch pole, silks, hand-to-hand-balance dance, clowns, hula hoops, magic, Lyra, crossbow, balancing pole, and more.
Malay said spectators can take photos of the show without using camera flash but taking videos are not allowed.
Performers are professionals from Russia, Germany, the U.S., Chile, Venezuela, Moldavia, Ukraine a Kazakhstan and will include members of the Flying Wallenda family.
Families will find plenty of activities before the show and during intermission such as clown face painting, giant slide and obstacle course, a Kid’s Midway featuring bounce houses, toy and souvenir stands, concessions, photos with cartoon characters and circus artists and autographs with the artists.
In an earlier statement, International All-Star Circus owner, producer and ringmaster Cornell “Tuffy” Nicholas said this will be a modern circus with people performing for people so spectators should not expect lions or elephants in the show.
“We want the community to experience the beauty, grace and strength of some of the best performers in the world,” Nicholas said.
