IP&E Shell launches high-performance fuel

IP&E SHELL on Thursday launched its high-performance fuel—a new-generation V-Power formula—in a multi-media “celebration of progress, performance and powered partnership” .

The event was held at the Marianas Beach Resort.

The launching was supported by business representatives, local and other community leaders.

The high performance fuel, according to said IP&E Shell Senior Director of Retail & Loyalty Ricky Altonaga, contains innovative cleaning agents that remove performance-robbing deposits.

The IP&E Shell executive said the new high performance fuel is part of the company’s purpose, “Powering progress together by providing cleaner engine solutions.”

“The Shell V-Power which went through years of research and development cleans up to100% carbon deposits and prevents their future build up on vital engine parts. It is Shell’s “best ever performance fuel,” Altonaga .

IP&E Shell is doing this simply because “it’s all about the customer and modern technology.” Altonaga added.

Shell recognizes four main customer needs and how they choose fuel for their vehicles:

1.) Experience. He said, treating customers like guests is crucial to Shell’s customer promise. “It is the customers’ trust in our product that we always strive for,” he said.

2.) Performance. Many customers, Altonaga said, want assurance that IP&E Shell has the best for them. This new and improved formula, he said, is designed to serve the customers’ need.

3.) Customer value. IP&E Shell is proud to offer a fuel that provides real benefit, a product that cleans up to 100% of carbon deposits to fully rejuvenate engine performance.

4.) Reliability. IP&E Shell’s improved formula can provide benefits to all types of vehicle.

“So tonight, we are not just unveiling a new fuel we are presenting fuel innovation, a new formulation,” Altonaga pointed out.

Fuel scientist consultant Mae Ascan shared about the history of fuel research and development in Shell and provided details on how exactly the newly-improved V-Power formula’s cutting-edge cleaning agents rejuvenate engine performance.

The bottom line, the fuels scientists said, “What do customers need for their fuel. From these marketing insights, these customer needs are translated to fuel formulations, which before they are even deployed to different countries, need undergo a series of test because Shell needs to ensure that all promised benefits to our customers are delivered.”

Attendees also were treated to an F1 racing simulator, trivia contest with cash prices, and other raffle games.
