IT&E title sponsor of cancer march

“The 2011 MMAC committee is extremely grateful to the staff and management of IT&E for their continuous support in the battle against cancer.

IT&E is one of the oldest traditional title sponsors and their unending support is deeply appreciated,” said 2011 MMAC public relations committee chairman Christopher A. Concepcion.

IT&E has agreed to donate a phone line and DSL internet connection for use by the Commonwealth Cancer Association office, billing inserts promoting the upcoming 2011 MMAC event, six phones and airtime for use by MMAC volunteers plus great raffle prizes including six gift bags valued at $20 each and one year free unlimited local service.

For information on how to purchase raffle tickets, contact 2011 MMAC overall committee chairman Dave B. Guerrero at 989-2496 or via email at dave.b.guerrero@gmail.com.

“We’d like to remind the community that the largest annual cancer fundraising event in the CNMI is coming up on May 13-14 and all our teams are holding fundraising events up until the big day.  There are raffle tickets and luminaries for sale at only $5 each.  Raffle prizes up for grabs include a free ticket to the U.S. mainland, a free ticket to Honolulu plus travel credit vouchers courtesy of title sponsor Delta Air Lines.  Purchase a luminary in honor of a loved one who is currently undergoing cancer treatment or in honor of a loved one who has won the fight against cancer.  Or you may purchase a luminary in memory of someone who has lost the battle against this terrible disease.  Each luminary will be lit throughout the night as a sign that community support is there for all who have faced or are facing cancer,” said Concepcion.

“Also, MMAC’s Team Aschoscho will be hosting a co-ed softball tournament from April 30 to May 1 at the Capital Hill baseball field.  Registration fee is $150 and the deadline to register is this Friday, April 29.  All funds raised will go towards the Marianas March Against Cancer.  For more information, please contact Jerome Delos Santos at 989-7456 or Nadia Saralu at 288-1458,” said Concepcion.

The 2011 MMAC will be held from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. on May 13-14 at the Hopwood Junior High School field in Chalan Piao.

The 2011 MMAC is brought to you by title sponsors Bank of Guam, Delta Air Lines, IT&E, Saipan Health Clinic/St. Jude Renal Care Facility and Take Care/FHP.  Special thanks to Bank of Saipan, Hyatt Regency Saipan, IP&E/Shell Marianas, Marianas Health Services, MMAC Golf Tournament Organizers, Saipan Golfers Association, Saipan Images and Younis Art Studios/Marianas Variety.  For more information visit www.ccamarianas.org.
